Stay aware of your surroundings. The Vancouver Police Department advises people to trust their instincts and move to safety if a person, place, or situation feels uncomfortable.
You do not owe anyone extra time, personal information, or politeness at the cost of your safety. You can end the plan and leave.
After the meeting
Take a moment to notice how the meeting felt. If it happened through a platform, use any report or block tools it offers when needed.
For an emergency that needs an immediate police, fire, or medical response, the Vancouver Police Department says to call 911. Use its current reporting options for non-emergencies.
